ODBC School (Homeschool) Program

Here at Open Door Baptist Church we offer our members the opportunity to school their children at home, under the laws of the State of Alabama. We as a church are fully supportive of our parents and endeavor in every way assist these dear parents. However, it is required that:

1. A parent must be an active member of our church 2. A parent must become a member of the Home School Legal Defense Association ( For more information on the HSLDA call 540-338-5600). 3. Comply with the Church School policy manual. Other than the HSLDA annual fees, you'll find no other charges to the parent.
